Da Afghanistan Breshna Sherkat (DABS) is an independent and autonomous business created under the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan’s Corporations and Limited Liability Companies Law (IROA). The Afghan government owns 100% of the equity shares in DABS, which is a limited liability corporation (GoA). The business was founded on May 4, 2008 (15 Saur 1387) to take over as the national electricity utility from Da Afghanistan Breshna Moassassa (DABM). On a commercial basis, DABS will handle and manage electric power generation, import, transmission, and distribution across Afghanistan.

Job summary:
The person in charge of this post is responsible for controlling and inspecting the equipment of the power tower, addressing the technical problems of the residents, distributing electricity bills to the subscribers in cooperation with the meter reader, and other duties related to the task.
Job responsibility:
- Control and maintenance of related tower equipment and power grid lines.
- Addressing and solving the technical problems of the residents and timely implementation
- Arranging technical reports and daily work reports to the head of the group and, if necessary, to the commander of the war.
- Distribution of power bells in cooperation with the meter reader.
- Implementing the lane cut under the guidance of superior authorities.
- Disconnecting lines, stolen lines and reporting them to the group leader and commander of the war, preventing subscribers’ violations and using electricity without any restrictions.
- Cooperation with the management of the aerial line in the field of diagnosing the technical defects of the tower and the relevant lines
- Proper operation and use of electrical equipment and adaptation of rivets in turn according to the plan
- Collaborate with employees, maintain revenue, meter services, plan and engineering in relation to their work in the field.
- Caring for and locking the meter boxes and preventing irresponsible persons from touching the meter boxes.
- The tower officer undertakes not to give up working on the shafts.
- Other legal and duty-related duties given by the direct director.
Qualification and requirement:
- The applicants should have at least Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
- At least one year of work experience in the field of electricity
- Having physical ability.
- Having good communication skills.
- Having good behavior and excellent interaction with colleagues and electricity subscribers.
- Ability to write work reports.
- Commitment to duty.
