Summary of the Job:
Providing effective, safe, quality, and standard services to reduce the risks of nursing care at the relevant service level in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the Ministry.
Job responsibilities:
- Ensuring the completeness of all medicines, medical and non-medical equipment, observing the standard of infection prevention and other standards in carrying out daily work affairs;
- Preparing and arranging regular appointments for emergency care patients according to the patient’s health status;
- Check for vital signs, safe infusions, timely application of medication instructions, dressings, adherence to intake & out put standards and catheter adjustments, adjustment of the amniotic tube, monitoring of the patient’s diet and other serious nursing care in accordance with the instructions of the doctor. And policies of the Ministry of Public Health;
- Ensuring that the laboratory examinations are performed and that the physician is informed in a timely manner;
- Observing the order and discipline of the hospital, including appropriate treatment, maintaining the patient’s privacy and dignity, and medical ethics standards;
- Attaching receipts of payment systems of the fee collection system in patients’ files;
- Assisting and caring for the patient’s personal hygiene, existence and cleanliness;
- Ensuring the presence and cleanliness of the uniform, rojaie, camp sheet, mattress sheet, active sheet, serum base and patient’s side table;
- Maintaining patient files in bed and submitting to nurses;
- Perform 24-hour recruitment according to the table prepared by the department;
- Active participation in breakfast reports and related service wizards;
Management duties:
- Arranging monthly, quarterly and annual work plans in accordance with the general plan, in order to achieve the objectives, set by the department;
- Provide monthly, quarterly, annual and, if necessary, reports on related activities and achievements, in order to inform the leadership of the department;
- Perform other duties assigned by the competent authorities in accordance with the laws, regulations and objectives of the relevant department;
Coordination tasks:
- Coordinating and cooperating with Head Nurses (head nurse) in serious nursing care in accordance with the instructions of the doctor;
Employment conditions (educational level and work experience):
- This bill of duties has been prepared in accordance with Articles 7, 8 and 34 of the Civil Service Employees Law with the following minimum conditions and criteria:
- Field of study: Having at least a bachelor’s degree in the field (nursing) from national and international institutions from inside or outside the country and a higher degree in the field is preferred.

Skills required:
- أFluency in one of the official languages (Pashto or Dari) and English.
