Recently, the Ministry of Higher Education published 195 job openings for preachers and imams in several Afghan districts. These provinces include the Polytechnic, Parwan, Al-Biruni, Bamian, Ghazni, Panjshir, and Wardak as well as the Kabul Institution of Education and Training and Kabul Medical University.

Job qualifications and requirements:
Conditions of cadre bast:
- Priority will be given to those candidates who have master’s degrees and doctorate degree in exams.
- Those candidates who have degree certificates along with major courses/specializations will be given priority in the exam.
- Those graduates of Sharia faculties can register, who have master’s certificates or have studied religious studies for a short period of time besides their bachelor’s degree.
- Those candidates who meet the criteria, and who are not above (60) years of age can also register for memory beds.
Conditions of Imams and Preachers:
- These volunteers should have strong faith and have experience in invitation.
- Knowledge in Tajweed rules and experience in teaching religious sciences and at least a graduate of international studies and familiar with modern science environment.
- Priority will be given to those scholars who are specialized in invitations from a prestigious university.
Documents requirement:
- the actual grade transcript,
- a duplicate of the announcement downloaded from the Ministry’s website.
- a copy of the Tazkira or ID card.

How to apply:
Candidates that meet the qualifications for the open posts may submit the required paperwork to the abovementioned institutions.
Note: Candidates for the abovementioned jobs must register at the universities in their respective institutions, and once registered, they must take the exam in the places listed below.
- Kabul University of Education and Training, Kabul Medical University, and Polytechnic University exams will be held at Kabul University of Education.
- Kabul University, Parwan University, Al-Bironi University, Bamyan University, Ghazni University, Panjshir Higher Education Institutions, and Wardak Higher Education Institutes exams will be held at Kabul University.
