Duties and responsibilities:

  • Using power point presentations and other multimedia sources, create handouts and instructional materials for students.
  • Using modern technology to prepare lectures and present to students.
  • To reflect changes in teaching practise, developing and implementing new teaching methods is necessary.
  • Developing, preparing, and designing educational materials.
  • Examining the work of pupils.
  • Organizing and grading test papers.
  • Personal research initiatives and active participation in the research of the university.
  • Supervising the research activities of students.
  • Participating in staff training and completing continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Performing departmental administrative activities such as student admissions, induction programmes, and participation in committees and boards.
  • Attending and contributing to professional conferences and seminars on behalf of the institution.
  • Contributing to the creation, planning, and delivery of a high-quality curriculum.
  • Creating and administering periodic and final tests, as well as devising a mechanism in which all of those marks contribute to the final grade.
  • Creating new materials, including audio and video resources, by conceiving, writing, and producing them.
  • Working with the rest of the team to determine the audio-visual materials that will be used in the classroom.
  • Ensure that attendance is taken every day and that any irregularities are reported to management.
  • Reporting on student progress to the Head of Department and Dean of Faculty on a monthly basis.
  • Other responsibilities are delegated by the Dean of Faculty.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, buoyant wearable safety devices, etc.).
  • Reading and understanding of documentation such as safety guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Basic abilities to assist in an emergency, including understanding of basic first-aid techniques.

  • Ability to assess a vehicle’s mechanical condition and minor vehicle repair skills.
  • Demonstrate a client-focused attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, civility, and sensitivity.

Job requirements and qualification:

The following requirements are required of applicants:

  • Holder of a master’s degree with at least two years of professional experience in a reputable educational institution, or a PhD with at least one year of professional experience.
