About NSIA:
As an independent government agency, the National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA), formerly known as the National Statistics and Information Authority (NSIA), was founded in the year 1351 with the goal of developing an integrated scientific system for statistics and ensuring the coordination and harmonization of all statistical and information management activities in Afghanistan. Since its founding, NSIA has coordinated with partners including government institutions, international development partners, non-governmental organizations, research institutions, and agencies other than state to avoid duplication of data and statistics. NSIA also conducts population censuses and national statistical surveys. The organization works with national government agencies to gather, compile, and publish statistical data that includes statistics and data produced from their operations.
