Requirements & Qualifications for the Position
Applicants for this position must fulfill the following requirements:
- It is required to have an undergraduate degree in psychology, social work, or a comparable discipline in the field of social science.
- A diploma in psychosocial therapy or child protection would be beneficial.
- Candidates must have at least one year of bachelor’s degree experience or two years of diploma work experience alongside consumers in the local community.
- Strong written as well as oral abilities in English, Dari, and Pashto must be demonstrated.
- capable of creating a therapeutic strategy.
- The ability to conduct orientation and training sessions in the community is a requirement for candidates.
Duties and Responsibilities for Employees
Individuals who are successful in obtaining this position are required to fulfill the following duties:
- Employees are liable for planning training sessions for members of the Child Protection Action Network (CPAN), Community Wellbeing Groups, and Community-based Child Protection Committees (CBCPCs).
- An employee has to organize initiatives and promotions for protecting children in the community and centre.
- Encourage the formation of Community-based kids Child Protection Committees (CBCPCs) and Community Wellbeing Groups (CWG) in the neighborhood.
- The worker is required to carry out awareness campaigns and interact with the community at large in order to promote psychological health and psychological well-being.
- The worker is responsible for organizing Community Wellbeing Groups (CWGs) and Community-based Child Protection Committees (CBCPCs) in collaboration with community leaders and CPAN membership.
