Job description
The key responsibilities.
- Agriculturist will be implementing the daily or monthly work plan with assistance or coordinator
- He/ she will distribute the wheat seed, Vegetable seed to the garden for the benefits
- Visit regularly from the farmer fields, recognize the problem, search for the causes and get the solution for it.
- Regularly meeting with farmers and promote sustainability through farmer’s participation and involvement in all Agricultural activities.
- He/ she will regularly visit the program site and give technical advice as required
- He/ she will give monthly reports about the progress of the project
- Give information and recommendation to farmers regarding the ways which they can use the best.
- Develop new or improved methods or products for controlling or eliminating weeds, crop diseases, or insect pests and identify or classify species of insects such as locusts.
- Discussing with society or community about the new methodology and introducing deferent fruits and kinds of wheat.
- He/she will follow Afghanaid criteria for all inputs and outputs during the beneficiary selection.
Documents Requirement
- Have at least a bachelor degree in the agricultural fields
- Have two or three years of work experience
- Be professional in computer skills
- Must have reporting and writing skills
- Have good behavior skills
- Be fluent in Dari and Pashto and good in English
- Be self-motivated
