Kateb University is an innovative private higher education institution in Afghanistan. KU received its formal permit in 2007, at an official ceremony in the Ministry of Higher Education’s auditorium that included a group of faculty members, representatives from the media, members of the parliament, and groups of students. In 2007, Kateb University held its inaugural University Entrance Test (UET) in the presence of the Ministry of Higher Education’s Supervisory Committee, and 350 students were accepted to Kateb University.

Job summary:
To join our faculties, we are seeking motivated and resourceful lecturers. Teaching, creating course policies, generating course material, presenting scientific publications, and working with various academic bodies at Kateb University are only some of the tasks of lecturers.
Duties and responsibility:
- To develop subject-specific course policies following the provided format and to execute them in the classroom.
- Create a lesson plan for practical work and follow it according to the faculty’s schedule.
- Create course policies and distribute them to students at the start of each semester.
- To develop and submit progress reports to the HoD/DoF on a monthly, semesterly, and annual basis.
- To be on time for class and to foster a fair and competitive atmosphere.
- To evaluate students on a semester-by-semester basis and submit the evaluation forms to the faculty.
- Test questions must be prepared, examinations must be conducted, exam papers must be marked, and exam papers must be sent to the appropriate department on time.
- To attend faculty and department conferences and assist in the faculty’s general development.
- To attend Kateb University’s academic meetings and contribute to the university’s general growth.
- If necessary, attend meetings of other university committees.
- Contribute to the writing and publication of books, reference materials, and scientific papers.
- To adhere to and respect Kateb University’s rules and regulations.
- Assist Hod/DoF with additional job-related tasks as needed.
Document’s requirement:
- The applicants should have a Ph.D. or master’s degree in Medicine, Computer Science, or Economics.
- A minimum of three years of relevant work experience is required.
- At least two research papers published
- Strong presenting skills, as well as written and vocal communication abilities.
