Duties and responsibility

  • Develop quarterly and annual work plans based on project target activities for implementation and execution in 10 Afghan provinces.
  • Enhance the quality of education through building Community Oriented Schools (CBS) with PNGOs in each of Afghanistan’s ten provinces.
  • By visiting CBS, you can assure the growth of your employees and teachers, as well as the quality of resources.
  • Visiting CBS, watching, and following up on the refresh to ensure kid protection concerns.
  • Providing staff meetings and need-based training will help to improve the quality of the workforce.
  • Listen and follow up on refresher training, as well as offer the necessary assistance for improved performance.
  • Organize seminars to help instructors, Project Organizers, District Managers, and Master Trainers improve their skills and capacity.
  • Provide instructions, grade change training courses, refresher training modules, documents for CBS-related tasks, and requirements of the project, and assist with implementation in ten provinces.
  • Gather data from ten provinces in accordance with milestone-based activities, and assist in the preparation of a report and compilation.
  • Ensure a better work atmosphere in the office by encouraging transparency and gender awareness. To accomplish the program’s goals on safeguarding implementation, ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, abuse, or exploitation. Assist in the establishment of a safe working environment by providing assistance, advice, and knowledge on protecting.
  • Practicing, promote, and encourage safety policy concerns among team members, and ensure that safeguarding standards are followed in all actions.
  • If a reviewable event occurs, follow the safeguarding reporting procedure and urge others to do the same.

Job requirement:

  • The applicants must hold a Master degree in any university in the following fields (Sociology, Statistics, Social Science, Economics, Mathematics, Public Administration is preferred).
  • Strong understanding of education, especially in conflict-ridden nations such as Afghanistan.
  • Thorough understanding of global and national CBE education and child labor regulations and standards.
  • Working knowledge of inter-agency regulations and principles for CBE education.
  • Demonstrated experience in building the capacity of staff and partners in the areas of teaching new, standards, policies, and practices.
  • The ability to take action/work under hardship.
  • Must have been a strong communicator and presentation who speaks and writes English fluently.
  • able to work with, lead, and facilitate a multi-cultural group
  • Proficient in devising novel tactics.
  • Increasing staff capabilities.
  • Initiatives in Community Engagement
  • Ability to write reports.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience working in a challenging environment on vocational education.
