Summary of the job:

This is a non-regular role focused on assisting the project/M&E department in collecting mandatory data/information through conducting home interviews with Returnees, IDPs, and Host populations in 6 PARR areas of the target provinces (daily pay calculation). The enumerators will assist in collecting, compiling, reviewing, and reverifying data from respondents to reach out to the ultra-poor families. In addition, the incumbent will assist with data entry into the database and will reply to questions made during the data collection and analysis step.

Main responsibility:

  • Coordinate and plan all data collection activities in the field under the guidance of the M&E officer and team leaders
  • Assist community representative groups in performing wealth ranking exercises
  • Conduct household interviews with the household heads ranked as impoverished households
  • Conduct focal discussion groups with community facilitators to verify the ultra-poor households chosen for direct intervention
  • Enter the data collected into KOBO toolbox tables
  • Write the transcript of the FGDs and the Wealth ranking exercise
  • Assist in the verification and re-verification of the project’s ultimate beneficiaries.
  • Respond to questions about data collection and data entry generated by the M&E department in the country office.
  • Assist the country office, M&E officers, and team leaders in the interpretation of data.
  • Ensure the safety of staff, respondents, and stakeholders in all of the above components of work.

Qualification and Requirement:

  • Excellent organizing, communication, social, and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities, as well as time management abilities.
  • Excellent written and spoken English, Pashto, and Dari.
  • Experience in report writing and planning is a plus.
  • Reliable, active, and courteous.
