Summary of the Job:

Providing effective, safe, quality and standard services to reduce the risks of nursing care at the relevant service level in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the Ministry.

Job responsibilities:

  • In Kabul, I received training on how to use the phone and some stock level administration.
  • Will be in charge of the following:
  • Implement and verify that the process for the first handling, registration, and repackaging of vaccine boxes is followed (Each box QR Code sticking and app synchronisations)
  • Using the online system, monitor the Warehouse’s activity in the provinces (reception, distribution).
  • Check out the provincial warehouse’s stock reassortment requests.
  • Check for any irregularities in the supply chain process.
  • To keep the system up to date, signal any new vaccination types and associated conditioning (box type, quantity of vials per box, etc.).
  • Boxes should be checked on a regular and random basis to ensure that the registration process was completed correctly.
  • Liaison with provincial warehouse workers and the Voxmapp team on a regular basis
  • Ensure that the items shipped to the provincial warehouses are in good condition.
  • a person who is responsible for alerting others to any malfunctions.
  • Any other tasks necessary to guarantee a seamless implementation of the vaccine tracking system and vaccination campaign deployment.

Person’s responsibilities in the province (monitoring the distribution procedure + assisting the management of the health center)

  • Trained on how to utilize phones and how to manage supply levels in health institutions.
  • Examine the activities of health-care facilities in the provinces (vaccine distribution from the warehouse and health facility reception).
  • Ascertain that the health-care facility management are utilizing the app and that their system is operational (data bundle, phone, etc.).
  • Train the management of the health-care facilities on how to utilize the app.
  • Liaison with the Kabul warehouse manager and the voxmap team on a regular basis.
  • Ensure that the parcels supplied to the health center are in good condition.
  • Regular random checks of the QR Codes on the boxes to ensure that the registration procedure was completed correctly.
  • Any extra tasks necessary to enable a seamless installation of the vaccine tracking system and vaccination deployment

Job qualification and requirement:

  • High school graduation; an IT degree would be advantageous.
  • Possess a strong command of English, Dari, and/or Pashto.
  • Have prior supply chain or inventory management expertise.
  • Know how to use a smartphone and be comfortable with internet systems.
  • Have prior experience in information technology or logistics.
