Summary of the jobs:

The Provincial Cricket Development In-Charge is in charge of overseeing all aspects of provincial domestic cricket development. He is supposed to give managerial support to his relevant provincial teams and to guarantee that all provincial actions outlined for the growth of provincial cricket are applicable.

Job responsibility:

  • Participate in the formulation of a provincial cricket strategy.
  • Implement the provincial development strategy and meet the goals set out in it.
  • Implement and assess development policies in collaboration with the Domestic Cricket Manager.
  • Create yearly and monthly work plans, as well as activity reports.
  • Assist with the strategic planning of provincial teams.
  • To increase, manage the creation, coordination, and execution of a variety of cricket initiatives.
  • From the schoolyard through provincial tournaments, there are several degrees of participation and performance.
  • Deliver high-quality cricket programs in schools, universities, clubs, and academies, as well as for handicapped people.
  • As needed, do necessary administrative and reporting activities.
  • Prepare a variety of capacity-building strategies for provincial-related teams.
  • Organize interprovincial competitions for age groups, schools, universities, academies, impaired athletes, and club players.
  • Ensuring that all planning goals are evaluated and reported on in a timely manner.
  • Meetings with the ACB Domestic Cricket Manager on a monthly basis.
  • 6- Performance reviews with the ACB Domestic Cricket Manager on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Collect data for the database, which will be used to keep track of players, rankings, venues, and photos for T-20, one-day, and two-day matches.
  • At the provincial level, regularly monitor and help cricket academies, age group cricket, clubs, schools, universities, and disability cricket.
  • Prepare capacity-building strategies for volunteer development.
  • Ensure that the Domestic Cricket Manager receives frequent updates on fundraising at the provincial level.
  • Coordinate the development of girls and women with the help of schools, clubs, development organizations, local governments, and other partners.
  • As directed by the line supervisor, prepare, submit, and/or deliver reports/presentations.

Job requirement and qualifications:

  • Degree from 12th grade with six years of cricket development experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required, as well as two years of work experience.
  • Strong academic and practical cricket knowledge, as well as familiarity with ICC and ACC rules.
  • Possessing the ability to use personal computers and related software.
  • Ability to communicate ideas succinctly and effectively in English, Pashto, and Dari.
