In the list published by the National Office of Employment and Integration in Denmark, 41 jobs are seen in which employment is conditional on higher education qualifications. Meanwhile, there are 47 jobs in the category of skilled workers in this list.

Among the occupations for which Denmark seeks to attract foreign workers, we can mention doctors, teachers, engineers, plumbers, butchers, builders, bakers, and hairdressers.

Non-EU nationals can also apply for jobs for which there is not enough labor in Denmark. If their application is accepted by a Danish employer before the end of this year, they will receive a work and residence permit in this country.

  • Information technology: information architect, computer engineer, computer project manager, computer system programmer, and developer.
  • Law, human science, and culture: lawyer, librarian, psychologist
  • Science and engineering: construction technical expert, plumbing technical expert, plumber, operation, and production manager.
  • Health services: environmental specialist.
  • Commercial and management affairs: customer affairs manager, commercial consultant, commercial and corporate consultant, real estate consultant, administrative secretary in work affairs, medical secretary, office assistant, educational secretary, commercial assistant, office clerk, administrative clerk.
  • Law, Humanities, and Culture: Pastor, Florist.
  • Economy: accounting assistant, accountant, accounting clerk.
  • Department of service, maintenance, and care: hairdresser, social worker, and medicine
