About Afghan Women Scholarship September 2023:
Afghan women may apply to the University of Dundee (UoD) to study full-time postgraduate degrees in the academic year 2023–2024. This scholarship is offered for a full waiver of tuition costs as well as a monthly stipend. In addition to the living expenses stipend, students may also benefit from the housing allowance, which they get directly in monthly installments.
Students have the option of living in private or university housing. The UoD does not cover extra costs associated with the price of private housing, such as deposits, utility bills, or damages, in the case of private housing. Additionally, for unfurnished houses, students will not be reimbursed for furnishing fees. The scholarship does not cover late fees or any other residence-related costs for students residing in university housing.

Benefits of the Scholarship:
- The selected scholar will be granted a full year of tuition-free education.
- The course of study must be a postgraduate taught course; undergraduate and research courses are not accepted.
- In accordance with the UKVI Living Cost criterion, successful winners will additionally receive a monthly living expense payment.
- Successful recipients will additionally get a housing stipend each month that is equal to the university housing allowance.
