About the MA Scholarship at the OSCE Academy:
Are you a student from one of the OSCE member states or one of the Central Asian countries (Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, or Uzbekistan)? Do you want to further your education with a master’s in human rights and sustainability, economic governance and development, or international security? The OSCE Academy in Kyrgyzstan is offering fully financed MA Degree Scholarships.
Eighty students from the nations above are offered fully paid scholarships to attend the OSCE Academy in Kyrgyzstan between 2024 and 2026.
Starting on September 1, 2024, the MA Degrees will be a full-time, 18-month commitment. Preparatory Summer School will run from 5 August to 29 August 2024, and all registered pupils must attend. To pursue higher education in Bishkek, students need to relocate there.
Bishkek’s OSCE Academy was established in 2002 by the Kyrgyz government and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). The mission of the OSCE Academy is to further the principles and values of the OSCE via graduate-level education, professional training, research, and intellectual exchange.

Scholarship qualification:
The following are the requirements for the OSCE Academy MA Degree Scholarships:
- Possess a valid passport from one of the countries listed below:
- Those who live in OSCE member nations or Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and Uzbekistan.
- They either already have a Bachelor’s Degree (four-year BA, final-year BA, or Specialist Diploma) in a relevant discipline or are working toward that goal before beginning the program
- Proficient command of the English language (equivalent to a TOEFL score of 90 or an IELTS score of 6.5 or above).
