About the University of Bologna Scholarship:
The Italian University of Bologna is now accepting scholarship applications for 2024–25. Scholarships from the Università di Bologna are open to all international students. We invite all qualified applicants to apply if they want to study in Italy for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. For the 2024–2025 school year, you may apply for one of these Italian scholarships.
The University of Bologna has 260 degree programs available for the 2024–2025 school year, with 84 designed specifically for international students and 68 offered in English. Furthermore, as of the academic year 2022/2023, the university provides 48 PhD programs, 53 schools for specialty, and 86 programs for professional master’s at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. At least fourteen of these master’s degree programs have earned prestigious recognition on a global scale.
Established in 1088, the Institution of Bologna (Unibo) is a public research institution in Bologna, Italy. At this time, the institution is home to around 90,000. Among European universities, Unibo stands tallest. The University of Bologna was placed 18th in Europe and 154th globally in the 2024 QS World University Rankings. It was also ranked first in Italy.

Scholarship eligibility:
These are the requirements that all applicants must fulfill:
- To be eligible, candidates must have completed high school in Italy while studying abroad or in a system other than Italy.
- Scores on the SAT or GRE must be legitimate.
- Get an ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) between €16,000 and €35,000 to prove your financial situation.
- Requirement for age: you must not have turned 30 years old before the application deadline.
Scholarship selection criteria:
- Evaluation supported by evidence of financial stability and SAT/GRE scores.
- Prior recipients of Unibo Action 2 scholarships will be considered for select scholarships depending on their financial situation and academic performance.
