Job responsibilities for Field Monitor/Anthropometric Measurers:
The Anthropometric Surveyor will have the responsibility of performing precise and dependable anthropometric assessments on children below the age of five, as well as pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, as a component of a complete household health survey. The surveyor will guarantee the acquisition of data of superior quality to evaluate nutritional status and facilitate health treatments.
- Participate in training sessions focused on data-collecting processes, actively engage in the learning process, and display proficiency in anthropometric techniques. Additionally, ensure
- consistency and accuracy in data gathering.
- Engage in pre-training and post-training evaluations.
- Meeting the minimum threshold on the post-training evaluation is required.

- Gather anthropometric and other data from chosen households in designated clusters, following specified guidelines and work plans.
- Identify the compounds/households that have been chosen for the survey and allocate them accordingly.
- Determine the individuals who meet the criteria for eligibility among the children and women residing in the chosen home.
- Provide a clear and concise explanation of the anthropometric measurement procedure to participants and seek their permission after ensuring that they fully understand the process and its implications.
- Conduct anthropometric measures, such as height/length, weight, and mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC), using defined protocols.
- Ensure precise documentation of measurements and uphold the confidentiality of participant data.
- Verify the conducted interviews to ensure that all inquiries have been asked and the answers have been accurately and documented.
- Regularly transfer the data gathering to the server that is set up on the phone/tablet.
Return to homes to re-measure data that has been marked as a possible mistake by supervisors and/or central technical teams. - Provide support in inputting data and doing the first analysis of the gathered data.

Job requirements for Field Monitor/Anthropometric Measurers:
- An educational qualification in Nutrition, Public Health, Nursing, or another closely associated field.
- Prior experience in doing anthropometric measurements is desirable.
- Prior experience of at least one year in conducting surveys such as AHS, DHS, MICS, SMART, LQAS, HMIS verification, BSC, and COVID-19 surveys is desirable.
- According to Islamic Sharia law, couples must be Mahram.
- Preference is given to those who are residents of the province.
- Proficient in interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in adapting to and collaborating effectively in multicultural settings.
