The Deakin University Postgraduate Research Scholarship (DUPR) and RTP Scholarships provide candidates with the following benefits:
- Candidates will be granted a stipend of $34,400 per year, tax deductible.
- A relocation compensation ranging from $500 to $1,500 will be given to international students who are awarded this scholarship.
- International applicants will receive health care through this award.
Eligibility Requirements for the Scholarship
- This grant is open for native and international students.
- Applicants for this grant must be enrolled in an HDR course of study at Deakin University.
- Candidates who wish to receive this scholarship must have completed a minimum four years of higher education courses.
- Candidates must have obtained 80% or equivalent in the research component of their prior studies or a comparable level of academic performance to be eligible for this scholarship.
- Candidates for this award must not obtain income via additional income that above 75% of the RTP or DUPR stipend amount
- Candidates must not be receiving an equivalent award or scholarship from the Commonwealth intended to offset HDR expenses in order to be eligible to apply for this scholarship.
