About OSCE Scholarship Program:
The Kyrgyz government and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe founded the OSCE Academy in Bishkek as a public foundation in 2002. (OSCE). Through undergraduate and graduate education, professional training, research, and interdisciplinary collaboration promote the OSCE’s guiding principles and values.
With a highly difficult admissions process, the OSCE Academy will annually accept up to 20–25 students into its newly developed BA Program in the subject area of “Economics.” It is intended for bright candidates who have a solid work ethic and learning style and want to study economics, international development, and issues of good governance.
Scholarship Details:
- Deadline: April 18, 2023.
- Program Start: September 1, 2023.
- Type of the program: full-time.
- Type of internship: fully funded.
- Location: Kyrgyzstan.
- Education level: Bachelor’s degree.
- Field of study: Bachelor of Arts program in Economics.
Scholarship Benefits:
- waiver of all tuition costs.
- 110 euros per month’s stipend (4 years).
- Visa fees and a round-trip (economy class) travel from the home country to Bishkek.
- health insurance (except for the citizens of Kyrgyzstan).
Scholarship Eligibility:
- Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan citizenship.
- completing secondary general or secondary education successfully. vocational training (certificate of secondary general education or diploma of secondary vocational education).
- advanced proficiency in English.
- Kyrgyzstan nationals must also possess the National Test Certificate (main test min 110 points and mathematics minimum 60 points).
