About Burnie Government Scholarship:

Applications for the Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarships 2022 are now open. It is a fully-funded international student scholarship. Brunei Darussalam University offers full-time diploma, undergraduate degree, and postgraduate master’s degree programs as well as scholarships. Applicants of any nationality are welcome to apply. UBD is now ranked #75 in Asia and #22 among universities founded less than 50 years ago. Brunei’s government is offering around 300 scholarships.

The UBD Scholarship is available as a full-time or part-time program. This Full Free Scholarship is not available to Brunei citizens. There is NO CHARGE FOR REGISTRATION. All expenses for chosen students will be covered by the University of Brunei Darussalam. This scholarship is available to Brunei and non-Brunei students who wish to pursue academic studies with international researchers.

• Deadline: February 15, 2021.
• Number of scholarships: 300
• Host university: University of Brunie.
• Program degree: bachelor and Master degree.
• Type of scholarship: fully-funded.

Scholarship benefits:

• Tuition fees, including acceptance, examination, registration, and orientation fees, are waived.
• A round-trip ticket to and from Brunei Darussalam in Economy Class.
• A personal allowance of BND$500.00 every month.
• A personal allowance of BND$150.00 each month.
• A BND$600.00 annual book allowance.
• Accommodation at the University/Polytechnic Residential College.
• Baggage Allowance for the transportation of the scholarship recipient’s personal items to his place of origin/domicile upon the end of the program, up to a maximum of BND$250.00 to a nation within the ASEAN area.
• A nation outside of the ASEAN area will get BND$500.00.
• For the term of the Scholarship, you will be covered by comprehensive insurance.

Scholarship eligibility criteria:

• Has a Bachelor’s degree with first-class honors.
• A Bachelor’s degree with honors and a Master’s degree with a strong publishing record.
• Citizens of ASEAN, Commonwealth, and OIC member nations, among others, are eligible to apply.
• For Undergraduate and Diploma programs, applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 25, and for Postgraduate Master’s Degree programs, they must be under the age of 35.
• Fit to pursue studies in your chosen field.
