About Canada Immigration Visa:
Canada declared in July 2021 that it will provide citizenship to Afghans who have aided the country. It is a unique immigration scheme for Afghans in Canada. This unique program is open to anybody who works or has worked for the Canadian government in Afghanistan.
Who can apply:
- Become an Afghan citizen.
- His/her job entailed a significant and/or long-term engagement with the Canadian government, including but not limited to:
- Those who worked with the Canadian Armed Forces as interpreters.
- Local employees who now or have worked in the Canadian embassy in Afghanistan.
- During the application process, he/she and his/her family members were residing in Afghanistan.
- Not be ineligible to enter Canada.
Family members that are qualified to apply:
- a spouse or common-law partner is a person who is married or has a common-law partner.
- a dependent kid who is not married or in a common-law partnership and is under the age of 22.
- a dependent child (grandchild) under the age of 22 who is not married or in a common-law relationship.
- Under this special scheme, de facto dependents will also be eligible. A de facto dependent is someone who is financially reliant on another else.
- For emotional or economical reasons, he or she is reliant on a certain family (or both)
- may live with the family as a full-fledged member of the family.
How to apply for Canada Special visa program.
Please read the eligibility requirements carefully; if you believe you are qualified or have a question about the program, contact the Canada Government Immigration department using the methods below. Please do not make contact with the Canadian Embassy in Afghanistan.
The first step is to gather information. Include the following in your email:
- complete name (full Name).
- Date of birth.
- Please provide your email address.
- Number to call (Phone Number).
- Describe your involvement with the Canadian government or Canadians Afghanistan’s armed forces include:
- The title or position of the job.
- If you had one, provide it.
- the name(s) of your Canadian contact person(s) (if possible).
- Please include any papers that demonstrate your involvement with the Canadian government.
