Applicants with a 4-year university degree (180 ECT) and at least two years of practical experience in SME promotion and training are eligible for the SEPT MBA program at Leipzig University. Self-financed applicants may provide internships and cooperative education as job experience.

Benefits of the Leipzig University Scholarship:
There are two types of Scholarship:
- Full funding for this program is available via scholarships offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for master development-related courses.
- The fees and costs that self-financed students must pay are calculated as follows:
- Students interested in studying self-finance pay a charge of 1500 Euro every semester (a total of 6000 Euro).
- The cost of living is around 650 euros.
- All Leipzig University students must pay an enrollment fee of EUR 253.50 before the start of each semester.
- The UniCard incurs an extra price of EUR 10.00 for the initial enrollment only.
- It costs around EUR 861 per month to meet the criteria for a student visa and residency permit (including health insurance).
- Blocking bank account worth EUR 11.332 per school year (2 semesters).

DAAD Scholarship SEPT MBA at the University of Leipzig Criteria:
- The list of admission requirements must be satisfied by every candidate.
- Have completed an undergraduate program at an accredited institution with 180 ECTS or its equivalent.
- Possess a minimum of two years of experience promoting and training small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
- English language competency requirements for undergraduate programs in English include a TOEFL IBT score of 78 or above, an IELTS academic minimum overall band, or a letter certifying English proficiency.

- Some of the tests that are not approved are the TOEFL ITP, TOEFL TOEIC, and the IELTS General Training.
- When sending in the TOEFL results to SEPT from the ETS, the university code is 6976.
- The following is the minimal grade required of Indian candidates having a bachelor’s degree that is three years long:
- A grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 or more OR a first-class (60%) or A+ (Very Good) grade.
- Applicants from Vietnam and China are required to provide an APS certificate.
