About Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarship:
For the 2023–24 Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarship in Germany, submissions are welcome. All global and overseas students are eligible to apply for the 2023 Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Scholarships. The Friedrich Ebert Foundation Scholarships are available in Germany and include undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral degrees. Students from any subject area are entitled to apply to study in Germany in any academic field. For the academic year 2023–2024, fully funded scholarships are available to study for free in Germany.
Up to 40 students may get FES sponsorships each year to study for free in Germany. The Friedrich Germany Scholarships 2023 are given to exceptionally talented students and come with a thorough seminar program to assist the applicants to improve their social and intellectual abilities.

Benefits of the Scholarship:
The following expenses are covered by the Friedrich International Student Scholarships for pursuing bachelor’s degrees in Germany as well as scholarships in Germany for postgraduate study:
- In a Bachelor’s, Diploma, Magister, or state examination program, a monthly stipend of EUR 750 is provided.
- 850 euros per month in a master’s program stipend.
- Health insurance premiums are covered, and students who have children are given a family stipend of EUR 276.
- There is no need to pay back the scholarship.
Scholarship eligibility for bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. applicants:
For undergraduate and graduate students:

- International candidates must additionally show that they have adequate German language abilities.
- German and international first-year students must apply before or at the start of the first semester.
For the Doctorate Degree:

How to Apply?
Below is a step-by-step registration guideline:
- Online submission is required for the FES scholarship application. You must first create an account on the FES website before completing the online application. The necessary docs must be uploaded as well.
- A confirmation email will be sent to you when you submit your application. Await a response. Up to three months may pass throughout the selection process. If chosen, you will receive an invitation to an interview.
- Participate in the interview: If your application for the scholarship is shortlisted, you will get an invitation. Both in-person and video conference options are available for the interview.
- Accepting the award: You will be sent an acceptance letter if you are chosen for the scholarship.
