About Korean Government Scholarship:
Nominations are now being accepted for the esteemed and fiercely competitive Global Korea Scholarship 2023. Formerly known as the Korean Government Scholarship Program (KGSP), the GKS 2023. This program leads to master’s and doctoral degrees and is entirely financed by scholarships. The Korean government is supporting this scholarship opportunity. More than 1300 foreign students from 155 nations who intend to study for a graduate-level degree (master’s or doctorate) or conduct research in Korea will be chosen by the KGSP 2023.

- Monthly Allowance: 1,500,000 KRW for the research program and 900,000 KRW for the degree program.

Scholarship requirement:
- Any foreign students are eligible to apply.
- Residents of Korea are ineligible to apply.
- A graduate program applicant must be less than 40 years of age.
- A bachelor’s degree or a level of education at least as high as a bachelor’s degree is required for admission to the master’s program.
- Candidates for a doctoral program must possess a master’s degree or a degree that is at least as high as a master’s degree.
- Applicants for the research program must have been invited by one of the partner universities.
- A person is ineligible to apply if they have already received a Korean scholarship.
- The student’s health should be good.
How to Apply?
For the Korean Government Scholarship Program 2023, there are two methods of application. Such as to your nation’s embassy in Korea or directly to a Korean university.
- An applicant must send original or authenticated documentation to the Korean embassy while making an application.
- On the other side, an applicant must provide the necessary paperwork to the local institution when applying directly to the university.
- Whereas a student applying directly to the university can only apply to one institution, a student applying through the embassy can apply to three universities.
- Applicants that make it through round two of the Embassy track selection procedure shouldn’t take it as their final decision.
