About Heinrich Böll Foundation:
The Foundation, which is closely affiliated with the German Green Party, invites German and foreign students from any subject and higher education institution to apply for the scholarship. Candidates have a strong attitude toward environmental goals, outstanding academic status, and are socially and politically committed. They are the experts and leaders of tomorrow, ready to take responsibility and advocate the Foundation’s green ideals on a global scale: the concepts of sustainability, self-determination, equal opportunities, and justice, as well as the promotion of human rights and democratic culture.

- Location: Germany.
- Program degree: Bachelor, Master and Ph.D.
- Type of scholarship: fully funded.
- Number of scholarships: 1000.

Benefits of the scholarship:
for Ph.D. students;
- Monthly scholarship of 1200- 1300 Euro for PhD students.
- A mobility allowance of 100 euros per month is provided.

Who can Apply:
- Engage in social and political activities.
- Have a strong academic record in any field.
- Applicants from countries other than Germany are eligible to apply.
- Be passionate about the foundation’s core ideals, such as environment and sustainability, democracy and human rights, self-determination, and justice.
- Have documented proof of DSH 2 or Test DaF Level B2 German language competency
How to Apply:
- Applicants must submit their applications online. Any other types of applications will be rejected. Six weeks prior to March 1st or September 1st, applications will be available.
