About the University of Muhammadiyah Scholarship:
Nominations are currently being accepted for the University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta International Priority Scholarship (IPS) in Indonesia. The UMS International Priority Scholarship (IPS) 2023 provides international students with the opportunity to pursue undergraduate and graduate studies in Indonesia. The main goal of the foreign priority scholarship is to choose international students from every continent and provide them with financial aid while they pursue higher education at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) in Indonesia. Awards for international students give them the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and countries, engage in cultural exchange, and broaden their horizons by networking with authorities in their field of interest or study, in addition to providing them with financial aid for tuition and fees.
Scholarship Details:
- Deadline: June 30, 2023.
- Location: Indonesia.
- Program degree: undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. degree.
- Host university: University of Muhammadiyah.

Fields of the Study:
All undergraduate programs are provided in Bahasa Indonesia, with the exception of the Master of English Education (Magister Pendidikan Bahsa Inggris) and the Master of Islamic Law (Magister Hukum Islam), which are both given in Arabic.

Important Note: It will be challenging for students to renew their passports because several nations do not have embassies in Indonesia. Therefore, we strongly advise you to apply for a scholarship with a passport that is valid for at least 18 months.
Scholarship eligibility:
The applicants should meet the following requirements:
- The IPS scholarship is open to students from Muslim-majority developing countries.
- The grant may include instruction in English, Bahasa, or Arabic.
- International students may apply for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees with this grant.
- Any applicant for a bachelor’s program must possess a high school diploma or an equivalent qualification.
- Applicants must have a high academic record in order to be eligible to apply for an Indonesian IPS scholarship that is fully sponsored.

- Essay about the organizational experience, (optional).
- Recommendation letters.
- Letter of statement.
- Bahasa Proficiency Certificate.
- English Competence Certificate (If you want to participate in a program where English is the major language of instruction, you must produce this certificate as proof of your English competence).

- After creating an account, applicants must search International Priority Scholarship to find an application form on which they must provide additional evidence in addition to details about their identity and course of studies.
- Learners are required to enter all of their data precisely and properly.
- Applicants must send in the required documentation as 300KB JPG/Images in color with a file size restriction.
