About Zonta International women Scholarship:
Women studying business who have shown exceptional promise in the sector are given the Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarships. Up to 37 overseas scholarships worth $5,000 are available from Zonta International. The local Zonta club will accept applications from any woman enrolled in a business program at an accredited university, college, or institute, including online students, who are at least in her second year of an undergraduate program and in her final year of a master’s program at the time the application is submitted. Any university, college, or other organization that offers accredited courses and degrees is eligible to use the scholarship.

Scholarship Deadline:
- Zonta clubs received the following applications: Contact a local club for the deadline (generally April-June).
- The club winner is chosen, and the application is accepted by the governor/region representative: on 15 August, or by the district/regional deadline.
- The district/regional applicant was chosen, and the application was accepted by ZI Headquarters on October 15.
- The formal announcement of foreign recipients: December.

Who is eligible?
- Applicants must be females of any age enrolled in a business program at an accredited university, college, or institute with a major field of specialization in accounting, economics, finance, business management, business technology, information technology, marketing, operations management, human resources management, international business, or entrepreneurship and who have demonstrated exceptional potential in the field while residing or attending school in a Zonta district or region.
- Online students who are enrolled at an approved university, college, or institute are also qualified to apply.
- When submitting an application to the local Zonta club, students must be enrolled in at least the second year of an undergraduate program or the last year of a master’s degree.
- Candidates must be enrolled full-time at the time the scholarship money is awarded and may not expect to graduate before April 2024.
- Previous Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship recipients may not reapply for the Scholarship for a second year.
- Candidates for the 2023 Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship may not also apply for the 2023 Women in Science Scholarship.
- Club members and individuals with direct membership in Zonta International, as well as employees of Zonta International and the Zonta Foundation for Women, as well as their family members (ancestors, descendants, adoptees, siblings, nieces or cousins, and those of their spouse or co-habiting partner), are ineligible to apply for the Scholarship.
- Candidates from geographic locations within a Zonta district/region with no clubs will be evaluated and may apply for international scholarships through a Zonta district/region.
What are the Requirements:
Candidates must satisfy the basic standards listed below.
- Attending a recognized university/college/institute and pursuing a business and/or business-related program.
- At the time the application is submitted to the local Zonta club or district, you must be enrolled in at least the second year of an undergraduate program or the last year of a master’s degree.
- Application materials must include the Zonta International verification of current enrollment form (see page 7) or an authentic stamped certification of enrolment from the university. Acceptance letters do not constitute enrollment verification and will not be accepted.
- To be eligible for this award, you must be enrolled in school at the time the funds are given and must not graduate before April 2024.
- During her academic courses, including business topics, she maintained an exceptional academic record.
- Show initiative, desire, and dedication to a business career.
Documents Requirement:
All candidates must prepare and submit the following documents as part of their application package:
- One recommendation letter from a member of the study field’s faculty.
- A single reference from an employer, volunteer supervisor, or academic adviser.
- The university, college, or institution must sign the Verification of Current Enrollment Form.
- Transcripts or other similar documentation for all universities, colleges, or institutions attended.
- One essay of no more than 500 words that clearly describes the following:
- Professional and educational objectives of the applicant.
- The program’s relevancy to the business area.
- Shows initiative, desire, and dedication to pursue a business career.
- Describes how this Scholarship will help them achieve their aims.

Note that all application materials must be completed in \ English and received at the Zonta club by the deadline printed on the application. Only typed applications will be accepted and taken into account.
