The National Statistical and Information Office, formerly known as the Central Statistical Office, was established in 1351 as an independent department within the government to establish a national statistical information system to coordinate the management of all statistical information features of the country. Duties and Responsibilities
Management and development of statistical and information system based on the needs of the country
Manage and provide accurate, documented, reliable, timely, quality and usable information for policy-making, policy-making, decision-making, planning, research, public awareness, transparency and other issues from a single source
Ensuring professional independence, applying scientific and standard methods and observing the international principles of official statistics, ensuring coordination and preventing duplication of action in all activities and providing statistical services
Management of information systems in order to effectively, timely and comprehensively use current figures, large figures and geographic information in the preparation of statistics.
Key Duties
Arranging monthly, quarterly and annual work plans in accordance with the general plan in order to achieve the objectives set by the department;
During the documentation process to establish an accurate identity in order to obtain a citizenship card;
Registration of documents for distribution of ID cards and prevention of forgery and scratching in the basic book;
During the process and certification of ID cards from the relevant authority on persons when applying for a citizenship ID card;
Distribution of citizenship ID cards according to documents and records for applicants;
Registration, issuance and filling of offices based on citizenship ID card and prevention of registration and redistribution;
Arranging basic offices in the relevant archives by provinces;
Establish a regular filing system in order to move the necessary documents in the relevant files;
Collect revenue from the price of the ID to the trustee;
Provide monthly, quarterly, annual and, if necessary, activity reports.

This bill of duties has been prepared in accordance with Articles 7 and 34 of the Civil Service Employees Law with the following minimum conditions and criteria.
Field of Study:
At least a bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields: Economics, Administration and Management, Administration and Business, Good Governance, Sociology, Public Administration, Public Policy, Law and Political Science, Public Management, Social Sciences, Communication, Literature and Humanities , Psychology is preferred from inside and outside the country and to a higher degree in the mentioned fields;
Work experience:
At least one year of work experience (managerial or specialized in administrative affairs, coordination, distribution of ID cards, vital statistics and statistics) from inside and outside the country;
Skills required:
3. Fluency in one of the official languages (Pashto or Dari) and familiarity (writing and speaking) with English;
4. Computer skills in task-related applications;
