About CARE Organization
CARE first established its mission in Afghanistan in 1961, but suspended activities after the Russian invasion of 1979. Resuming activities in 1989 from a new base in Peshawar, Pakistan, CARE delivered assistance to Afghanistan from across the border until 2002 when it shifted its main office back to Kabul.
CARE Afghanistan has developed three programs:
- Women’s & girls’ empowerment
- Enhanced resilience
- Humanitarian action

Location: Kabul Nahia (11,12,13 and 15), Mazar Sharif Nahia (4,5,6 and 9), Herat Nahia (5,6,10, and 12) and Kandahar Nahia (3,9,10 and 11).
Duties & responsibilities
The CARE position Community Mobilizer operation a keys duty in designing and implementing the Urban health initiative (UHI) project activities on community level in province of Herat, Kabul, Mazar-e-Sharif and Kandahar. on the guardianship of the community engagement specialist, Male/Female is eligibility to apply for this vacancies, to connect with different network and venerable community, includes teacher, Mola, religious leadership, health shora and community health worker to the community expanding recognition about health and health problem Male/Female is also required to motivated and engaging person to community members to deliver of the essential message of health recognition to their family and community.

Applicants eligibility:
Must have a bachelor degree in that fields (Psychosocial, Social science, economic, Science…).
Have 3-5 years’ work experience in different fields and different area such (health, community, preferred who work and knowledge in Afghanistan).
Languages Skills:
Can spoken and written in Dari and Pashto preferred who know English language
Skills
Have excellent knowledge of the community health service manage by health providers
have a good knowledge and facilitated and community mobilization skill
Knowing about the Afghan culture and tradition
willing to work with community.
Ability to conduct mobilization session at community level
