About Scholarship:
Non-Japanese students interested in studying in Japan can apply for JPSS scholarships. After their enrollment has been accepted, applicants can apply to any Japanese university and receive one of the following scholarships.
Three types of scholarships are available in JPSS.
- After their enrollment has been accepted, TWO successful applicants will get 1 million yen each.
- ONE selected applicant will get a financial award of 500,000 yen.
Scholarship details:
- Deadline: October 31, 2021.
- Host country: Japan.
- Gender: Male and Female.
- Program degree: undergraduate and Master degree.
- Type of scholarship: fully funded and partial scholarship.
Scholarship qualification:
- Be a resident of a non-Japanese country.
- Prior to acceptance, I received a message from the chosen university via the “JPSS Scout function.”
- Be capable of conducting an interview in Japanese or English.
- They have a bank account in Japan in their name.
- Have been accepted to begin a bachelor’s or master’s degree in April/May 2021, and their enrollment has been approved.
- Candidates under the age of 20 must have a guardian who is fluent in Japanese or English.
Scholarship requirement:
- Form of application (basic information).
- A short essay on your ‘Motivation to Study in Japan & Future Goals’ (no more than 350 English words or 800 Japanese characters). It is strongly advised that applicants write up to the word limit.)
- Video of Self-Introduction (no more than 30 seconds in length).
important Note:
- If any of the application forms or materials are discovered to include fraudulent information, the application will be denied, and any scholarships that have already been awarded must be returned.
- All scholarship money must be returned if a successful candidate does not complete, drops out, or is expelled from their higher education course.
