About Scholarship:
Kent University undergraduates founded the First 500 Scholarship to assist those whose maximum capabilities have yet to be realized or whose abilities are not recognized by current assessment procedures. Students from the EU and around the world are welcome to apply. One scholarship is available each year. Full-time and part-time students are both eligible to apply.

Scholarship criteria:
- Each year, there will be one scholarship awarded.
- Anyone enrolled in school, whether full- or part-time, may apply.
- International, European Union, and Home students may apply.
- Applicants must have earned an A AA from three A Levels or a specified equivalent in order to be considered for the award.
- They start their first year of college in September of 2023.
- I have submitted a UCAS application to Kent State University.
- by August 31, 2023, have committed to attending Kent University.
Those who do not qualify for this scholarship are:
- who have completed schooling above the equivalent of an A-level.
- who have been awarded a grant based on financial necessity.
- Who is currently enrolled at Kent State University?
- Who is applying to the Pharmacy Program at Medway
- who wants to attend the Medical College of Kent and the Medway Area (KMMS)
- The recipient will not receive their scholarship while participating in a Year Abroad or Year in Industry program
Scholarship requirement:
The applicants must meet the requirements of the scholarship listed above.
The UCAS application form is available for download. Write an essay of 750 to 1,000 words on the following topic:
What would you study if a new university opened in 2020 and you were one of the first students to enroll?
Convert the essay to a Word document. At the top of the document, please provide the following:
1. The essay’s title
2. Your full name
3. The number assigned to you by the University of Kent.
