About Melbourne Scholarship program:
The University of Melbourne Scholarships 2023 in Australia are now accepting applications. Graduate Research Scholarships are available at The University of Melbourne for international and domestic students from all around the world. For the academic session 2023-2024, the study program is open to worthy individuals from any country who intend to pursue a Master’s or Ph.D. degree at the university. This is a fully-funded scholarship that allows you to study in Australia for free.
Almost all academic subjects and majors are available to study in any postgraduate degree program at the institution. All expenses will be covered by the scholarship. The scholarship lasts two years for a master’s degree and four years for a doctorate.

Scholarship benefits:
- Students pursuing a Master’s Degree by Research for up to two years or a Ph.D. degree for up to four years will get the full price.
- Students pursuing a Masters by Research degree will receive a living allowance of $31,200 a year pro rata (2020 full-time study rate) for up to two years or up to 3.5 years for students pursuing a doctoral degree. The living allowance is subject to yearly indexation and includes paid sick, maternity, and parental leave.
- Students transferring from other states or territories than Victoria will get a $2000 relocation award, while students travelling from outside Australia will receive a $3000 relocation grant.
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) is a single membership for overseas students studying in Australia who require a student visa.
Scholarship eligibility:
- students from other countries who are paying full international rates
- beginning their first year of a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree
- If you: finished your secondary education at a New Zealand school, you are not eligible for this award.
- completed the Foundation Studies Program or the English for Academic Purposes (EAP)
- are a Twinning or Study Abroad student from one of our international partner universities.
- at Victoria University of Wellington, you’re in your second year of study in the same degree program.
Scholarship requirements:
- Applicants of any nationality are eligible to apply from anywhere in the world.
- Students have applied for a research master’s degree or a research doctorate.
- Students who are currently enrolled in a Graduate Research Degree program.
- The applicant must fulfill all of the entrance requirements.
