About Melbourne Scholarship program.
The University of Melbourne provides a variety of merit scholarships to present University of Melbourne undergraduate and graduate students who are studying abroad as part of their curriculum. Some scholarships are given out based on academic achievement, while others are given out to help students who are in need.

Scholarship benefits:
The Melbourne Global Scholars Award and USA Foundation Scholarship gives a one-time payout of.
- $1,000 for foreign students for at least 3 weeks but not more than 12 weeks, or
- $2,500 for students studying abroad for more than 12 weeks.
- A one-time grant of up to $5,000 is available through the Melbourne Global Financial Assistance Grant and the John and Betty McCreery Travelling/Study Scholarship.
- The University House Travel Scholarship and the Aitchison Travelling Scholarship each provide a $5,000 one-time grant.
Scholarship eligibility:
To be considered for this scholarship, you must be able to:
- be enrolled in a postgraduate coursework degree at the University of Melbourne, and plan to study abroad for at least 3 weeks as part of a University of Melbourne semester or year-long program, a short-term program, or a University of Melbourne study tour. Subject: Overseas
- Before beginning an abroad study program, apply for the Mobility Awards.
- have not earned a Mobility Award for international study as part of your present course have not won a New Colombo Plan Grant for the same international program.
Scholarship selection:
The Melbourne Accessibility Awards are given out for a specific scholarship purpose.
- In their undergraduate degree, eligible applicants who are Chancellor’s Scholars, Kwong Lee Dow Scholars, or Commerce Achievement Scholarship winners will earn one Melbourne Global Scholars Award.
- Other recognition prizes are given to deserving applicants based on their academic performance as measured by the University’s Weighted Average Mark (WAM). At the time of application, you must have results for all topics in your programme. Scholarships will be granted to students with the highest WAM if the number of applicants exceeds the number of scholarships available.
- Eligible applicants are granted access utilization on their documented social, educational, and financial disadvantaged.
Scholarship Requirements
- You must get authorization and enroll in the foreign study program for which you have been awarded the scholarship.
- After you have received the award cash, you must inform Stop 1 promptly if your abroad study program is postponed or terminated by any party. It’s possible that you’ll be asked to refund the money.
- When requested, you must submit a Scholarship report and grant permission for the University to share the report, as well as your name and course details, with the donor of your mobility award.
- You will not be eligible for another award as part of your current degree if you earn a mobility award.
- You promise to engage in any University of Melbourne ambassadorship activities, such as the University’s Postcards from Abroad blog and other social media channels, events, and student displays, as asked.
