About RIPS Internship:
The Research in Industrial Projects for Students (RIPS) program allows talented undergraduates studying math, computer science, and related fields to collaborate on real-world research projects submitted by a business or government sponsors. Each student team will research the topic and present the results orally and in writing at the end of the program, with the help of their academic mentor and industrial mentor.
The REU is a nine-week program. IPAM offers a variety of resources and incentives to each undergraduate student. These are some of them:
Internship details:
- Deadline: February 14, 2022.
- Location: Los Angeles and California USA.
- Host University: California and Los Angles University.
- Type of internship: fully-funded.
- Internship Duration: Students who are now enrolled as undergraduates or who have recently graduated. The program will last two months (June 21 – August 20, 2022).

Internship Criteria:
- RIPS students come from a variety of academic backgrounds, but they all have a strong mathematical background and enthusiasm.
- Undergraduate students, including international students from Current Graduates, are eligible.
- Applicants must complete their bachelor’s degrees between December and June of the current academic year to be considered.
- To participate in the program, you must be at least 18 years old.
