Job summary:

  • Assuring that an instructor has given them an orientation on COVID-19 and the Desterkhwan Mili scheme, and that they are able to process and promote the programs in the targeted Nahias of Kabul.
  • Encourage populations and target groups to learn all about the Dasterkhwan-e-Meli scheme, including how to identify recipients, purchase relief parcels, distribute them, track them, and respond to complaints.
  • Guzar Councils will be supported in the planning of a community beneficiary list.
  • Assist Guzar CDCs in create bank accounts.
  • Notifying Guzar Councils as funds are disbursed and deposited in the bank account.
  • Notifying Guzar Councils as funds are disbursed and invested in the bank account.
  • Ensure that there is honesty and responsibility at the local level.
  • Guzar Council members can receive basic accounting, project management, recruitment, and reporting training.
  • Help Develop Participatory Monitoring Teams to oversee the identification and evaluation of beneficiaries prior to and during the delivery of Assistance Packages.
  • Conduct a COVID 19 awareness session with the group and Guzar CDCs to disseminate basic health messages to prevent the transmission of the Corona virus in accordance with MoPH guidance.
  • Assist Nahia in developing a functional complaint response system.
  • Guzar CDC Council receives coaching and mentoring in the use of control software as well as a proper operation and repair schedule for food delivery.
  • Ensure that all financial statements are confirmed and approved by Guzar CDC, and that they are documented in the CDC register.
  • Assuring on-time distribution and the absence of any impediments in the process.
  • The Socially Organizer must complete all required forms and send them to the appropriate manager.

Document and vacancy requirements

  • Applicants must be Organizational, listening, interpersonal, and have teamwork skills are all essential.
  • Excellent in listening and time management skills, both orally and in writing.
  • Fluency in national languages in Dari and Pashto.
  • Writing and preparing reports is something you’re already familiar with.
  • Honest, constructive, and courteous.
  • Graduated from high school or received a college degree. The 12th grade is highly recommended.
  • 2 years of related experience, preferably in a non-profit or comparable environment.
  • Experience with the National Solidarity program/Citizen Charter and Community Governance Project is highly preferred.
