About Gates Scholarship:
TGS is a highly selective, last-dollar scholarship for excellent minority high school seniors from low-income families. The scholarship is given to 300 of these student leaders each year with the goal of assisting them in reaching their full potential. International students can apply for the Gates Scholarship Program 2022 for Undergraduate Degrees. Bill Gates has informed that all national holders will be eligible for 300 scholarships. These 300 USA Scholarships are open to anyone with any academic background.

Scholarship eligibility:
- Students must meet the following criteria in order to apply:
- A senior in high school
- At least one of the following ethnicities is represented: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American are some of the ethnic groups represented.
- Pell-eligible
- a citizen, national, or permanent resident of the United States
- In good academic standing, with a cumulative weighted GPA of at least 3.3 on a scale of 4.0. (or equivalent)
- A student must also intend to enroll full-time in a four-year degree program in a non-profit, private or public college or university in the United States.
- Proof of tribe enrollment will be required for American Indian/Alaska Natives.

- Certificate of English Proficiency: or All institutions require IELTS/TOEFL, but if your previous degree was completed in English, you can simply present an English certificate from your university.
PERFECT CANDIDATE
An ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
- A stellar high school scholastic record (in the top 10% of his or her graduating class).
- Leadership capacity that has been demonstrated (e.g., as shown through participation in community service, extracurricular, or other activities).
- Personal achievement qualities that are second to none (e.g., emotional maturity, motivation, perseverance, etc.).
