The Vice-Chancellor’s International Excellence Scholarship is not open to students who enroll in the University’s online programs. We are eager to have you visit the University of Waikato.
Scholarship details:
- Number of scholarships: N/A
- Location: New Zealand.
- Program degree: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree.
- Deadline: now open. For this scholarship program, there is no deadline for applications. It is submittable whenever you want.
Benefits of the scholarship:
- Applicants will get $20,000 NZD to help with their bachelor’s tuition costs.
- Applicants will get $15,000 NZD to use toward their master’s degree.
Scholarship requirement:
- You shouldn’t be taking any University of Waikato courses or earning a degree.
- For admission in a bachelor’s or master’s course, the applicant must be doing so at the University of Waikato for the first time.
- The length of study must be a full-time degree program that lasts at least a year.
- The cost wasn’t supposed to be paid at the time of registration.
- The applicant must meet the English language requirement of the University of Waikato.
- Applicants must relocate to New Zealand after winning the grant, and they are only allowed to enroll in up to 50% of the available online courses.
- Individuals participating in exchange programs are not eligible for the New Zealand scholarship.
- There should be no finance enterprise behind the candidate.
- At a minimum, the candidate should have a B+ score.
- Scores on the IELTS or TOEFL are required for English language proficiency.

How to Apply:
Applicants must create a user ID on the University of Waikato Admission Portal and submit their whole application online. Complete the University of Waikato application and scholarship form as directed, upload any necessary supporting documentation, and submit the form.
