The UN OHCHR Fellowship Program for 2024 is now officially opened for submissions. The UN OHCHR Fellowship Program invites candidates to take part in Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Fellowship programs.
The UN OHCHR Fellowship Programme operates once annually at the Office of the High Commissioner for the Protection of Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland, this program was created for people of African origin and provides extensive human rights instruction to them.
The UN OHCHR Fellowship Program aim is to promote and improve the skills and knowledge of people who participate in this project in preparation for advocacy and support of African civil, political, economic, social, and cultural rights. Participants will get the tools they need to improve the creation of laws, policies, and programmes, boost civil society partnership with governments, and carry out local awareness-raising efforts.
This fellowship project allows applicants to meet a variety of performers, improve their abilities in creating ideas for projects, making demonstrations, and presenting material to rights-related authorities, develop and enhance their awareness of international human rights legislation and the UN human rights system, and overlapping concerns with an emphasis on individuals of African origin.
Every year, the United Nations offers a number of fellowship programs through which applicants can gain experience from experts, raise awareness, meet and communicate with scientists, and communicate with participants from all over the world.

Eligibility Criteria
To be accepted, applicants must meet the following standards:
- Candidates who want to be confirmed must be of African heritage and live in the Diaspora.
- Applicants who wish to be chosen must have a minimum of four years of professional experience connected to the rights of people of African descent.
- Individuals who desire to be shortlisted must be able to attend the entire period of the program.
- Those who wish to be obtained must be required to engage in different activities and rigorously adhere to the academic program.
