Scholarship requirement:
In order to be eligible to apply for DAAD Awards for the WATENV master’s degree program, candidates must meet the requirements listed below:
- Candidates must be citizens of developing nations.
- Applicants applying to the WATENV Master’s program should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant topic, such as civil engineering, environmental sciences, or any study with a water theme.
- A certificate that has been accepted by the Leibniz University of Hannover serves as proof of appropriate working knowledge (CEFR C1) of English.
- Demonstrate two years of professional employment.

Scholarship selection criteria:
- a full set of papers, including a signed, initialed, and checked copy of this form.
- a DAAD application form that is done.
- The information on your letter of inspiration, your CV, applications for other degree programs, and applications for other scholarship programs must all match the information on the DAAD application form.
- Your final grades for your degree were above average (upper third). If you can, please send confirmation from your university if your official degree certificate has not yet arrived.
- a minimum of two years of relevant job experience after receiving your first degree from college and at the time of application.
- Applicants with master’s degrees who are applying for master’s programs must persuasively demonstrate why they should receive funding for another postgraduate degree.
- The last university degree earned by applicants should typically be no older than six years.
- Applicants who had resided in Germany for more than 15 months as of the application deadline are ineligible.
